Enough is Enough

I have sat back quietly for many months now. I cannot be so silent anymore. Here are some thoughts about recent events in the US.

1. Since when does a fix for an over spending problem of individuals in this country warrant creating an even bigger over spending problem at the federal level? We do not have the right to keep loading up debt and taxes on our descendants. That is truly immoral. Government needs to learn to become more efficient just like businesses do when economic downturns force it....raising taxes now just keeps Government in its normal ineffective and wasteful mode.

2. We have elected a Neophyte to run this country and he is running wild with ideas. Nationalizing and controlling Banking and Auto industry is not prudent when there is already a proven method to get these companies back on their feet (normal bankruptcy!). Devising and passing bills that continually erode our liberty is not the solution for security and never will be!

3. The stimulus bill has had no positive effect on the economy and in fact, just like the FDR stimulus and government expansion bills in the 30s, this is also be driving the country and world toward a major depression. Tax cuts and incentives would have started to make some positive effect on the economy by now, those are tried and proven but we have someone at the helm that wants to Change everything for change sake!

The founding fathers built protections for such things but those too are being ignored. No one follows the constitution as it was intended anymore. But we all better get back to is ASAP.
